Nba 2k22 Current-Gen is a game about basketball. In NBA 2k22 there are 4 main modes in-game. I will review all 4 modes in today’s blog.
For the first time in the series, the game features six different cover athletes: the standard and current-gen editions feature Luka Dončić of the Dallas Mavericks, the 75th Anniversary Edition features Kareem Abdul-Jabbar of the Los Angeles Lakers, Dirk Nowitzki (also for the Mavericks), and Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets. The Special WNBA 25th Anniversary Edition features Candace Parker of the Chicago Sky. The Japanese box art features Rui Hachimura of the Washington Wizards. Parker became the first WNBA player to become the cover athlete for the NBA 2K series.
PlayNow and MyGm are the same every year so I won’t be talking about them.

Let’s talk about MyCareer and the Neighborhood. MyCareer has a new story to it and you can go to college. You can choose between 10 different colleges. In the Nba, you basically do the same things as the past few years. You play in the NBA, get endorsements, earn VC, and upgrade your player.
The Neighborhood is now the Cancha De Le Mar, a giant 16-floor yacht on the water. The new neighborhood has 6 3v3 and 2v2 courts. They also have 5v5 courts on the 16th floor o the yacht. The Yacht has lots of areas including the Promenade, Game Room, and Lobby.
Now Let’s talk about the gameplay. Shooting: In Nba 2k22 Shooting is very easy and you can green with a 60 three-point rating. Dribbling: Dribbling is pretty good because they added lots of new size-ups, combo dribbles, and lots of new dribble packages. Finishing: Finishing is two-sided. Making lay-ups and making dunks is easy if you are wide open. But there is one factor that makes making lay-ups and dunks over defenders hard. And I will talk about that next. Defense: Defense is the most overpowered part about 2k22. It is so easy to miss shots even if you are slightly congested. And the AIs are so op. They can stay in front of you even if you have no stamina.

Each installment in the NBA 2K series emulates the National Basketball Association, and presents slight and sometimes bad improvements over the previous installments. As such, gameplay simulates a typical game of basketball, with the player controlling an entire team or a select player; objectives coincide with the rules of basketball and presentation resembles actual televised NBA games. Various game modes have been featured in the series, allowing for gameplay variety. Numerous elements of the games feature customizable options. Each game features the teams and players from the current NBA season; historic NBA teams and players have also been featured, as have EuroLeague teams and (starting with NBA 2K20) WNBA teams. Fictional players and teams can also be created and compiled.
The original NBA 2K Game was initially released in November 1999 for the Dreamcast. Allen Iverson is the cover athlete. The first four games in the NBA 2K series feature commentary from fictional announcers Bob Steele and Rod West, portrayed by Bob Fitzgerald and Rod Brooks respectively.
